GMS LAW Continue Sponsorship of Professional Boxing in Norwich

GMS LAW were proud to continue their Sponsorship of Professional Boxing here in Norwich at The Halls on 16th September 2016.

The Venue

The venue is an historic 14th Century Church which has been converted into an impressive venue – and the boxing itself lived up to the task.

The evening featured 6 professional bouts over varying weight categories, producing a thoroughly entertaining evening of Professional Boxing organised by Shamrock Boxing Promotions.

Nathan Dale

Pictured above is Nathan Dale, an up and coming Norwich based Boxer who is surely in line for a Title shot. After a year’s absence from the sport, Nathan kept his unbeaten record, which is now at 20 wins.

Zaiphan Morris

Norwich’s own Zaiphan Morris also secured his 9th win – another unbeaten record – having only made his debut two years ago. Zaiphan’s last round against opponent Inderpreet Gill was impressive and explosive, which was needed to confirm his win.

Craig Poxton

Craig Poxton’s v. Andy Harris was a pretty brutal match, with both men sustaining a fair few cuts and bruises. Craig Poxton, from Lowestoft, was victorious with a 60:55 win.

Joe Hurn

Unrelenting pressure from Joe Hurn led to his victory over Zaurs Sadihovs, from Latvia. However, a highly anticipated knockout wouldn’t quite come for Joe. Nevertheless, he was a worthy 40:36 winner.

Marcus Poston

It was a victory for Marcus Poston on his debut appearance in the pro ranks, having boxed as an amateur and then took on the role of trainer. His opponent, Joe Beedon, did little more than avoid a knockout.

Alan Ratibb

For the second successive time, Alan Ratibb was defeated by Ali Wyatt of Torquay – having left himself open and narrowly avoided hitting the canvas in the first round.

The next event is being held on 25th November 2016 at The Halls – what is sure to be another fantastic and entertaining evening of professional boxing.
